On a first offense, the fine is a minimum of $400 plus 100 hours of community service. For a second or third offense, the fine is between $750 and $1000, plus 200 hours of community service. If the person fails to complete the community service, the judge can impose jail time. Parents Are Responsible for their ChildrenIf the Las Vegas graffiti suspect is under 18, his or her parents are responsible for paying any fines or penalties imposed by the court. If the parents can’t afford to pay these fines and penalties, the court can order the parents to perform community service. Minors May Lose Their Nevada Drivers LicensesIf a minor (person under age 18) is convicted of graffiti in Las Vegas NV, the court will order his/her Nevada drivers license to be suspended for between 6 months and 2 years.
