Where is Prostitution Legal in Nevada?

Prostitution is legal in Nevada counties of less than 400,000 population (this therefore excludes Clark and Washoe Counties), if the qualifying county so chooses. Carson City, Douglas County and Lincoln County have elected not to allow prostitution. Even in counties where prostitution is legal, it may only take place in licensed "houses of prostitution" or brothels. To be licensed, all of the facility’s prostitutes must submit to regular testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
